Financial Planning Process

Financial Planning Process

Financial Planning is a process which aims to give our clients objective support in organising their personal or corporate finance in order to more readily achieve their financial and lifestyle goals.

This can lead to the recommendation of specific contracts or policies, eg life assurance or a personal pension, but initially it will result in the production of a plan devised specifically for each client, focussing on strategy and goals.

Our financial planning process

First appointment

Upon appointment our first step will be to start preparing a financial plan tailored to your requirements and situation.

Setting goals and getting to know you

We will spend time with you to identify your goals over the short, medium and long term. At this stage we will also assess your attitude to risk and, once agreed, all strategies and options will be explained.

Action plan

We will form an action plan to assist you in reaching your stated goals.

The next stage is to implement that plan step by step, giving you help and guidance. This may include recommending products available on the market at the current time.

Regular reviews

Any recommended actions you agree to will then be implemented and reviewed on a continual basis. The review service generally involves an annual consultation although, depending on your circumstances, this can be more frequent.

Investments - The value of units can fall as well as rise, and you may not get back all your original investment.
